Why a Kindergarten Prep School?

Kindergarten is not what it used to be. They learn to read, recite the alphabet (not sing it), add numbers, write complete sentences, work with computers, and so much more. Yes, they even have homework. We work hard to prepare them for that, socially, emotionally and academically, in an age appropriate way. We are not a "day care center."

Our Philosophy

The main goal of The Learning Tree Primary School is to provide an all-day center for children of mothers and fathers working outside of the home, while providing an organized, creative, constructive, and challenging learning program in a Christian home-like atmosphere.

LEARNING IS FUN!

The school is developed in to a "prepared environment" which excites and challenges the child's intellect. The classroom is a fascinating world of concrete material, to encourage the child to explore, touch create, learn and communicate The atmosphere is Montessori-oriented, allowing freedom with responsibility, emphasizing the development of "inner discipline" rather than the use of outward controls. We are Here!

After 28 Years of sharing with the church, we have moved to our very own exciting new state-of-the-art facility! You've got to see it to believe it. Our new school building offers so much more for the children with 12,000 square feet. We now have a real preschool library, and multipurpose area for indoor play. The colors are beautiful and the classrooms are large. The new facility is located one half mile west of the 9A/Merrill Road interchange and centrally located for Arlington and Northside residents. Come and see what all the excitement is about.
